GENERAL INFORMATION

  • No lower age limit! Contestants under the age of 26 on April 2, 2009, may enter.

  • Past winners of any performance prize with the Corpus Christi or Victoria Symphonies are ineligible to enter concerto contests.

  • Prizes total over $20,000.

    Two junior and two senior concerto contest winners will compete in the concerto finals for grand prizes.

  • The Judge Woodrow Laughlin Piano Concerto Prize of $500

  • The Texas Performer's Prize of $500
    for best concerto performance by a contest finalist who permanently resides in Texas or who has resided and studied in Texas for at least six months immediately prior to the competitions.
